Walls
First, think of the Walls. If you are going to paint use a semi-gloss latex paint as this will be easier to clean from your little one’s hand marks. There are great colors to coordinate for a Space room. Some great colors that coordinate with an Outer Space theme are blues, light and dark greys, bright oranges and reds. You can paint each wall a different color or divide the wall into two colors.

Window Treatments
Window treatments can be simple or complex. Here are a few ideas: Make a cornice board to fit the window and cover it with padding and material that matches your décor. Use a dark gray fabric or a shiny gray fabric and make roman blinds. Look for window rods with decorative space ships on the ends. These suggestions can truly add the final touches to make your outer space room look fantasitc.
Accessories

Buy dryer vent and gray plastic pipes from a harware stroe and cut and hang them. This will give the room the feeling of being in a space ship.
-
Use glow in the dark paint to either use on the Frieze Frame Mural so it will glow in the dark. Or, use the paint to add fun accents around the room eg: paint the bookshelves.
