Walls

First, think of the Walls.  If you are going to paint use a semi-gloss latex paint as this will be easier to clean from your little one’s hand marks.  The best colors for a flower room are many different shades of pinks, lilacs and greens.  One can go from deep colors to soft and pastel colors.  It is all a matter of preference.  Softer shades generally are great for toddlers and even baby nurserys and bolder colors are generally great for preteen and teenage rooms.  Your walls can be creative by doing a two toned paint selection or painted one wall a darker color.  One can paint each wall a different color or use a border to seperate the color.

Murals
There are many murals available to bring the Flower theme quickly and easily to your room.  The Wallies Big Flowers are perfect for any girls room.  They are large pre-cut flowers that are bright and viabrant.  There are the flower and dots murals that incorporate fun pastel dots.  These murals are available in one piece for a seamless finished look.  This mural can be customized to fit your wall space.    There are many murals some come in peel and stick or you can have different wallpaper murals in many sizes from poster, chair rail to full wall.

Borders
If you need borders then there are many different styles of flower borders which can accent and coordinated a Flower room quickly.  Borders can be used on the top of the wall, middle of the wall or three quarters up the wall.  Here is one idea for a border use extra border to decorate boxes or play boxes or cut out the princess's and use them to decoupage old picture frame or piece of furniture.

Window Treatments

Window treatments can be simple or complex.  Here are a few ideas:  Make a cornice board to fit the window and cover it with padding and material that matches your décor.  You can use a coordinating fabric print and make curtains and valances.  Another idea, is to use plenty of light viole fabric in soft pinks and lilacs to drape over the window treatment.  Use decorative tie backs on the curtains.  Also, look for window rods with decorative flowers or gingham checks on the ends.

Accessories

To make the Flower room complete is to add accents or finishing touches.  One can add fun flower knobs to pieces of furniture, use a classic pink shelf to place fun princess accessories.  Or use many Flower accessories eg: light switch covers, tumbler, waste basket etc, use coordinating flower art work, or use chalkboard paint and trim it out with a matching flower border, find a flower print rug to add some interest in the room.   In addition, to finish your flower room then find a fun silk flowers and mount them to storage boxes or arrange them on picture frames.  Take a sample of a flower pattern wallpaper or decorative wrapping paper and make a picture.

One can use light viole fabric to make a reading area in the room by using a window treatment in the corner of the ceiling.  Secure it to the ceiling then drape the fabric over it and use decorative tie backs to create a special reading area.  Place books on small shelves or in baskets so they are accessible for a child.  Use flower pillows or coordinating color bean bags to make it comfortable for your child to go in and read.
