Construction Zone
If you little one loves dump trucks, diggers, bulldozers and cranes then turn his bedroom or playroom into a Construction Zone quickly and easily with these simple decorating tips. Check out suggestions for your walls, window treatments and construction accessories to make your child's room fun and exciting place to be.
Walls
First, think of the Walls. If you are going to paint use a semi-gloss latex paint as this will be easier to clean from your little one’s hand marks. There are great colors to coordinate for a Construction room. Primary colors of blue, green, yellow, red or a sand/taupe paint color can make the room lots of fun. You can paint each wall a different color or divide the wall into two colors.
Murals
How fun for any construction guy. There are murals that can be personalized with your child’s name. In the sign you can have your child’s name with “At Play or At Work.” In addition, these murals can made into three sizes a poster size, chair rail or full wall to accommodate your child’s room. In this mural all the construction vehicle are primary colors of blue, green and red with lots of dirt being moved. Or, there is a construction mural of a town that is available in a chair rail size.

Construction wall stickers are ideal for applying to the walls, a piece of furniture or even glass. There are cement trucks, cranes, diggers, dump trucks and a variety of work zone signs. They are peel and stick; repositionable and reusable which are great for any construction room.

Accessories
To make the Construction Zone complete is to add accents or finishing touches. One can add construction knobs to pieces of furniture, use metal signs on shelves or on the wall, or use chalkboard paint and trim it out with a matching construction border, find a construction rug for the end of the bed. There is wonderful construction bedding with accessories that will enhance the Construction theme. One can use construction cones to section off different areas of the bedroom or playroom.
